"The past is never dead. It's not even past." William Faulkner
My work is my way of reflecting the basic urge to belong somewhere, the search for what constitutes a personal history, and the discovery of the rhythms and patterns that always emerge. Every one of us has a story.
I am dedicated to understanding my own story
and its place in the world. That leads to making art not only with paints and pencils but also with found objects from childhood and beyond.
Just as the ancestors made their own way, so do my words and pictures.
